before you give up on your pet - let's see what we can do

The alternative is not good

We'd love to tell you there is a magic wand we can wave and your pet will be adopted into a new, loving home. Sadly, there are so many pets in need, your pet will be a fish in a very large pond. Shelters are full, and owner surrenders do not typically get a long time at the shelter. Rescues are overflowing for this reason. As much as they want to help your pet, they are volunteer based and simply overwhelmed.

That said, let's try to get to the root cause of the issue.

Behavioral / Training Issues

What if you could get help with the 2 or 3 most pressing behavioral or training issues? Let's see if we can match you with a trainer to give you some tools in your toolbox to help your pet's behavior.

Time

Everyone thinks their "pet deserves more - more time for walks, more time to play, less time in a crate". It is simply not true. Yes, some pets are high energy, but every pet would rather stay in their crate in your safe, warm home, than in a cold, noisy, scary shelter environment.

Let us pair you with a low cost dog walker to help get your pet some excercise while you are away.

Expenses - medical care or food

We can help you find low cost preventative care options, possibly assistance with vet bills, and food if needed. Don't give up  - we can try to help give a hand when you need it most.

Rehoming

If all else fails , and you still need to rehome your pet, we can help you as you try to find a home, however we require that  you to maintain ownership of the pet as we assist you in finding a new home and keep up regular contact with our Coalition Crew Outreach Team. While in our rehoming program, we will also share and feature your pet on our website.

Here are three sites you can list your pet on to assist you in searching for a new home:

https://home-home.org

https://rehome.adoptapet.com

Consider reaching out to a breed specific rescue (or all breed rescue) who might be able to help your pet.

Do a google search for a breed specific rescue in Texas, or other states. If the group is out of state, offering to cover tranport fees can help in the decision making. There are reputable transport groups and if needed we can help you find afforadable safe transport options.

We are NOT a shelter, and cannot take in animals. If you are lookng for assistance with rehoming resources or alternatives to rehoming, we can try to help.
